Responsibilities

· Supervise marketing team to include technical writing, graphic design, social, website and newsletter

· Manages the development of a variety of proposals from pre-RFP/RFQ positioning through to the final stage, respond to client solicitations, including analyzing RFP/RFQ specifications and requirements, and creating a responsive, attractive, and cohesive submittal

· Writes qualifications-based sections of proposals including resumes, project descriptions, and other general information materials

· Provides grammatical and technical editing to ensure quality

· Tracking of submittals and upcoming RFPs/RFQs

· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, marketing members, subconsultants, and relevant government agency personnel to procure required information and content

· Collaborate with internal and external management and technical staff in organization and development of proposal sections and scopes of work

· Compile GDOT & FDOT prequalification packages and various other client prequalification’s

· Uses Deltek CRM software to maintain up-to-date opportunity information

· Maintain files and records for client development materials, including ongoing updates to master employee resumes, project descriptions and related data for use in proposals and qualifications statements of the company

· Ensure accuracy of master resumes for project consistency and grammatical errors, format, and accuracy

· Facilitate proposal planning, strategy preparations, and review sessions

· Develop, maintain, and update project and technical information in databases for use in submissions and other marketing materials

· Work across functions and departments to produce and maximize content created for proposals and presentations

· Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing initiatives

· Stay up to date with industry developments and tools, and disseminate this information

Qualifications

· BA / BS, preferably in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field

· Proficient with full suite Microsoft Office 365

· 3+ years experience creating proposals in the A/E/C industry, ideally with procurement procedures for GDOT, Georgia municipalities, and other state DOTS and municipalities

· Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others

· Experience demonstrating leadership qualities

· Initiative, skill, and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently, follow up, and bring tasks and projects to full completion
